KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jan Lopuch of Saint Xavier (Ill.) has been named the NAIA Men’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week, Veljko Culibrk of Missouri Baptist has been named the NAIA Men’s Volleyball Defender of the Week and Christian Oviedo of Saint Xavier (Ill.) has been named the NAIA Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week. The trio was selected based on their performances from March 25 - 31 and were chosen out of a pool of conference nominees.

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Men's Volleyball Attacker of the Week 

Jan Lopuch, Saint Xavier (Ill.) - SO - Outside Hitter

• Totaled 34 kills
• Averaged 3.78 kills per set
• Recorded 0.424 attack percentage
• Aided his team in wins over No. 13 Lourdes (Ohio) and No. 7 Georgetown (Ky.) 

NAIA Men's Volleyball Defender of the Week

Veljko Culibrk, Missouri Baptist - SO - Opposite

• Totaled 13 blocks
• Posted 12 block assists and one solo block
• Averaged 1.18 blocks per set
• Added 11 kills, four service aces, and six digs

NAIA Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week 

Christian Oviedo, Saint Xavier (Ill.) - SR - Setter

• Totaled 89 assists 
• Averaged 9.89 assists per set
• Added two kills and 13 digs
• Aided his team in wins over No. 13 Lourdes (Ohio) and No. 7 Georgetown (Ky.)
