KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Emery Outin of OUAZ (Ariz.) has been named the NAIA Men’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week, CJ Bride of Georgetown (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Men’s Volleyball Defender of the Week and Ryan Smith of Vanguard (Calif.) has been named the NAIA Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week. The trio was selected based on their performances from March 4 - 10 and were chosen out of a pool of conference nominees.

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Men's Volleyball Attacker of the Week 

Emery Outin, OUAZ (Ariz.) - SR - Outside Hitter

• Totaled 49 kills in 10 sets for an average of 4.9 kills per set. 
• Recorded an impressive attack percentage of 0.512 in three matches.
• Posted 15 kills against both No. 1 Vanguard (Calif.) and Hope International (Calif.).
• Added three service aces, 0.974 reception percentage, 15 digs and five total blocks (4 assists, 1 solo) to his stat line. 

NAIA Men's Volleyball Defender of the Week

CJ Bride, Georgetown (Ky.) - SR - Libero

• Totaled 30 digs on the week. 
• Averaged 5 digs per set in six sets. 
• Posted only one error on 30 receptions for a 0.967 reception percentage. 
• Added two assists and one ace to his stat line. 

NAIA Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week 

Ryan Smith, Vanguard (Calif.) - SR - Setter

• Totaled 99 assists on the week. 
• Averaged 11 assists per set in nine sets. 
• Guided his team to a 3-0 week with wins over No. 4 OUAZ (Ariz.), No. 11 Saint Xavier (Ill.) and Arizona Christian.
• Added four kills, five service aces, nine digs, and five assisted blocks.
