2024 NAIA Men's Volleyball Coaches' Top 15 Rating - Rating No. 5 (April 3)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Master's (Calif.) moved back into the No. 1 spot for the third time this season in the latest edition of the 2024 NAIA Men's Volleyball Coaches' Top 15 Rating. Only four teams remained at the same rank as the last rating: OUAZ (Ariz.), Menlo (Calif.), Jamestown (N.D.) and Lourdes (Ohio). Mount Mercy (Iowa) is new to the Top 15 this week.
Rating Methodology
- The rating was rated by a panel of head coaches. There are two coaches representing each of the conferences/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated groups.
- The Coaches' Top 15 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 20 points for each first-place vote, 19 for second place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed and the team's ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the teams appear on.
- Teams that receive only one point on the ballot are not considered "receiving votes"
