2023 NAIA Men's Volleyball All-Americans, Coach and Player of the Year
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2023 Men's Volleyball All-America Teams along with Player and Coach of the Year.
Jared Goldberg of The Master’s (Calif.) was named the 2023 NAIA Coach of the Year in his third season as head coach of the Mustangs. Goldberg coached his team to a 19-5 record on the season where the team earned its first No. 1 ranking. Goldberg saw his team to its first NAIA championship appearance as the team advanced to the semifinals.
Nolan Flexen of The Master’s (Calif.) was named the 2023 NAIA Player of the Year. Flexen leads the nation in kills per set (5.3), hitting percentage (0.451) and points per set (5.9). The outside hitter also broke three records during the national championship with 35 kills in a match, 65 attack attempts in a match and most kills in the tournament (89).
