Attacker of the Week: Ryan Gunn, Georgetown (Ky.)

 

 Gunn had another big week with 25 kills in back-to-back matches and hitting above .500 for the week.

Petuhov tied for the third most blocks in program history with 10 rejections in the WHAC Championship against Indiana Tech The senior hit .542 offensively on the week, .417 against Goshen and .667 without an error and eight kills against Indiana Tech.

Attacker of the Week: Ryan Gunn, Georgetown (Ky.)

Gunn had double-digit kills in the MSC pod this past weekend at Cumberland University. In 11 sets, he had 46 kills on 93 swings and just 14 errors. He tallied 23 kills in a 3-1 win over RV Warner. For the weekend he also added 23 digs, four aces, three solo blocks and three block assists.

Kacper had 118 assists, more than 10 a set, as Georgetown went 3-0 in the MSC Pod at Cumberland University. He had 56 assists in a 3-1 win to finish the weekend against RV Warner. He added three kills on eight attempts, 23 digs, seven aces and six block assists.

The Bobcats top performer on the day, Morikawa tallied three career-highs: 20 kills and four service aces. The sophomore is just the third Bobcat in program history to record 20+ kills in a match. Morikawa's 22 total points (20 kills/4 aces/3 blocks) in match one is the most in the California Pacific Conference this year.

 Jacob had 22 total blocks in four matches as the Jimmies went 4-0 against NCAA DII competition The freshman set a UJ record with eight block assists in a 3-1 win at Erskine (S.C.) college. The middle blocker also averaged 1.38 blocks per set and moved into 6th place in the NAIA with 1.13 blocks per set.

Nehls led the Royals to an exciting upset against Vanguard (Calif.) last week, as he tallied a career-high 33 kills in the match. Nehls currently ranks number one overall nationally in kills per game (5.130).
