KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Miljan Kastratovic of Missouri Baptist was named as the NAIA men’s volleyball attacker of the week, Matheus Andrade of Lourdes (Ohio) was named as the NAIA men’s volleyball defender of the week and Luciano Bucci of Park (Mo.) was named as the NAIA men’s volleyball setter of the week announced the national office on Tuesday. The trio was chosen out of a pool of conference and group winners.

Attacker of the Week
Miljan Kastratovic, Missouri Baptist
6-4, FR, OP, Budva, Montenegro  

• Kastratovic led the Spartans to a 2-0 week with wins over No. 7 Ottawa (Kan.) and Lincoln (Ill.).
• Weekly Stats
  • Totaled 26 kills
  • Averaged 4.33 kills per set
  • Attack percentage of 0.524
  • Added one assist, 12 digs, six aces and one assisted block to his stat line.   

Defender of the Week
Matheus Andrade, Lourdes  
6-1, SO, OH, Coronel Fabriciano, Brazil

• In his third defender of the week honor, Andrade posted double-digit digs in three of the four matches he competed and set a school record of 20 digs in a three set match against Siena Heights (Mich.).
• Weekly Stats
  • Totaled 62 digs, averaged 4.43 digs per set
  • Totaled only four receive errors on 60 total attempts (0.933)
  • Added 13 kills, 15 assists and two aces

Setter of the Week
Luciano Bucci, Park
6-1, SO, S, San Salvo, Italy

• Bucci directed the Pirates offense to an undefeated week with wins over RV Briar Cliff (Iowa) and Dordt (Iowa).

  • Added three kills, 12 digs, two aces and five blocks (four assisted)
