KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA is pleased to announce the outdoor track and field multi-event qualifiers for the 2023 championship in Marion, Ind.

The current decathlon record holder is Kale Wolken of Doane (Neb.) in 2016 with a score of 7,830.

The 2021 & 2022 winner was Lee Walburn of Carrol (Mont.) with final scores of 7,095 and 7,225 respectively.

The NAIA Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship hosted by Indiana Wesleyan will take place at the Wildcat Stadium on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan in Marion, Ind. May 24-26.

The final qualifiers for the event will be announced on Friday, May 19 at 10:00 a.m. central time on naia.org.
