Day Three Recap of NAIA Men's Golf National Championship

MESA, Ariz. - [Championship Schedule] After 54 holes of competition in the Battle for the Red Banner at Las Sendas Golf Course, Keiser (Fla.) remains unchallenged at the top of the leaderboard, with a five stroke lead over the field. 

Victoria (BC) made a valiant effort to chase down the Seahawks, posting a team score of -1 to get to +7 for the tournament and share in a tie for second place. The Vikes benefited from 14 birdies and an eagle in round three to get the team into red figures for the round.  

Robin Conlan of Victoria (BC) stands alone at the top of the individual leaderboard.  He went -1 in round three with four birdies on the card for his third consecutive round under par.  For the tournament he sits at -6, holding a two shot lead over the next three players in a tie for second.  

Bellevue posted the best team score on the day at -3.  The Bruins took advantage of the early tee times and had three players shoot under par.  They climbed three spots on the leaderboard but still sit at +25 for the tournament.

Las Sendas Golf Club is an 18-course with a demanding desert layout winding around the Usery Mountains in Mesa, Arizona.  It was designed by Bobby Jones Jr. in 1995.  From the tips, the course plays to a par 72 with a distance of 7,004 yards with a rating of 73.3 and a slope of 141.
