2024 NAIA Football Players of the Week - No. 7 (October 14)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Luke Holloway of Cumberland (Tenn.) has been named the NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week, Adam Caudle of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Football Defensive Player of the Week and John Mears of Montana Western has been named the NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week. The trio was selected based on their performances from October 7 - 13 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular-season on Mondays on naia.org, Instagram and X.

NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week
Luke Holloway, Cumberland (Tenn.) - SR - Quarterback
- Halloway was instrumental in Cumberland knocking off No. 4 Bethel (Tenn.)
- Accounted for 232 yards on a defense that came into the game just allowing 222.0 yards total as a team
- Tossed one touchdown for the first score of the game and then had a touchdown rush that wound up being the game-winning score
NAIA Football Defensive Player of the Week
Adam Caudle, Cumberlands (Ky.) - SR - Linebacker
- Led the team in tackles with 14, the most of any Patriot in a game this season
- Helped hold the Lindsey Wilson (ky.) offense to just 14 points, their fewest of the season as they entered the game averaging 37 points per game
- The Pats earned the win over #24 Lindsey Wilson, their first win over the Blue Raiders in over a decade
NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week
John Mears, Montana Western - SR - Kicker
- Went a perfect 2-2 on field goals against the No. 12 Orediggers with a 49 yard field goal
- Also went a perfect 3-3 on extra points for nine total points on the game
- Mears is currently perfect on the season, going 5-5 on field goals and 27-27 on extra points
