2023 NAIA Football Players of the Week - No. 8 (October 23)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Graedyn Buell of Rocky Mountain (Mont.) has been named the NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week, Brenden Sanders from Bethel (Kan.) has been named the NAIA Football Defensive Player of the Week, and Luke Creber of Keiser (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week. The trio was selected based on their performances from October 16-22 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular-season on Monday's on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week
Graedyn Buell, Rocky Mountain (Mont.) - JR - Quarterback
- Tallied 400 total yards in the 28-21 upset win over #16 Montana Tech.
- Tossed 265 yards and three of his four touchdowns through the air.
- His 135 yards on the ground is the most rushing yards in a single game by a Battlin' Bear this season.
NAIA Football Defensive Player of the Week
Brenden Sanders, Bethel (Kan.) - SO - Defensive Back
- Snatched a 65-yard interception which he returned for a touchdown.
- He added in six solo tackles, one for a loss.
- Sanders also recorded a pass breakup and a kick return for 23 yards in the victory over #14 Southwestern (Kan.).
NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Luke Creber, Keiser (Fla.) - FR - Kicker
- Converted a pair of field goals and six extra-points in a 51-21 win over Southeastern (Fla.).
- Tied the school record for longest made field goal with a 48-yarder.
- It is the longest field goal in The Sun Conference this year and tied for the 13th-longest in the NAIA.
