2022 Economic Impact of Football Championship

 

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The 67th annual NAIA Football National Championship was hosted in Durham, N.C. for the second consecutive year and once again boosted the local economy in addition to giving student-athletes, teams, and fans an elite experience. 

The NAIA Football Championship saw the final two teams from the Football Championship Series meet at Durham County Memorial Stadium to crown a new winner in the Battle For The Red Banner. Oer the course of the week leading up to the championship contest, the teams and fans were about to see the best of the Research Triangle including Duke University, the University of North Carolina, the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame and the best local restaurants and attractions.
