2025 NAIA Women's Beach Volleyball Coaches' Top 10 Rating - Preseason (January 22)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - OUAZ (Ariz.) opens the 2025 season at No. 1 with six of the seven first-place votes. Ave Maria (Fla.) moves into the Top 5, while Southern Oregon, Hope International (Calif.) and Loyola (La.) join the Top 10.
Rating Methodology:
- The rating was rated by a panel of head coaches. There are two coaches representing each of the conferences/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated groups.
- The Top 10 is determined by a points system based on how each rater rates the best teams. A team receives 15 points for each first-place vote, 14 for second-place, 13 for third-place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ratings for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) are removed. The team’s rating will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the team appears on.
- Teams that receive only one point on the ballot are not considered "receiving votes".
