2024 NAIA Women's Beach Volleyball Coaches' Top 10 Rating - Preseason (January 24)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Vanguard (Calif.), the 2023 defending invitational champions, land the No. 1 spot in the preseason edition of the Coaches' Top 10 Rating. Vanguard (Calif.) and Webber (Fla.) had the largest movement up in the ranking from the 2023 final regular-season ranking, while Mobile (Ala.) moved into the Top 10.
Rating Methodology
- The rating was rated by a panel of head coaches. There are two coaches representing each of the conferences/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated groups.
- The Coaches' Top 10 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 15 points for each first-place vote, 14 for second place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed and the team's ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the teams appear on.
- Teams that receive only one point on the ballot are not considered "receiving votes"
