COVID-19 Update: March 10, 2020

As of today, all NAIA championship events and the NAIA National Convention are expected to take place as planned. All championship host sites are implementing extra precautions in response to the threat of COVID-19.

NAIA staff members are meeting daily to assess the situation and considerations are being guided by information from local, regional, and national health authorities. We will continue to keep membership informed of any potential event changes. 

The NAIA encourages all our members to:

• Practice good hygiene, specifically hand-washing frequently and covering mouth when sneezing or coughing;
• Don't allow ill student-athletes, coaches, or staff members to attend athletic events;
• Notify the NAIA of travel restrictions or limitations in effect for your region; and

Avoid shaking hands with opponents or officials.
