NAIA Hires Parman as Chief Operating Officer

Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is excited to announce their hiring of  Lynn Parman as the new Chief Operating Officer. Monday will mark the first day for the veteran business and non-profit executive.

Parman has spent the last year as the McCownGordon Construction Vice President of Business Development in the Kansas City region, where she led the strategy and efforts totaling $400 million in annual sales.

Parman has over 23 years of leadership experience in non-profit, regional economic development and for profit organizations. Most recently, Parman was Vice President of business development in Kansas City for McCownGordon Construction. Prior to McCownGordon, Parman served as president & CEO of the American Royal Association where she directed a team of volunteers and staff to host nationally recognized competitive events, and provide education and scholarship programs to youth from around the country.

Parman will be the senior executive tasked with overseeing all of the NAIA’s day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the business. Parman will be focusing on operations primarily with finance, IT, marketing, human resources, NAIA membership and many other business units of the NAIA.
