The NAIA strives to attract and retain quality employees. To that end, the company currently offers a variety of benefits and welcomes suggestions of additional benefits to be considered to meet employee needs. An individual must work at least 30 hours a week to be eligible for benefits. One becomes eligible the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Insurance

• Health insurance through Humana – The NAIA provides up to 100% coverage for the employee and makes an additional contribution for spouse, domestic partner, child(ren) or full family. Numerous PPO or HSA accounts are available to choose from.

• Dental and Vision insurance through Principal - The NAIA will contribute $25 for the employee’s monthly dental premium and makes an additional contribution for spouse, domestic partner, child(ren) or full family. Vision insurance is available at the associate’s expense or unused dental dollars can be applied to it.

• Life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance for 2x your annual salary. 100% paid for by the NAIA. Additional buy-up option for additional life/AD&D, accident and critical insurance is available for the employee, spouse, domestic partner, and children.

• Short and Long Term Disability – The NAIA provides both short and long term disability insurance. In the event of a disability due to illness or injury, STD pays 60% of your weekly earnings to a maximum of $1500. LTD pays 60% of your basic monthly earnings to a maximum of $10k per month.

• Flexible Spending Account Cafeteria Plan - Currently includes childcare and medical reimbursement

 

401k

401(k) Plan

• 401(k) Plan – The NAIA will contribute 13% of your annual salary into the 401k plan. 100% of the first 3% of compensation is in an immediate vesting safe harbor plan. The remaining 10% has a six-year vesting schedule. Eligibility is the pay period following 3 months of continuous service. Salary deferral participation is available immediately upon hire.

Paid Time Off

• 12 days of vacation for the first five years of employment, 15 days after five years. (Paid time off is prorated the first year depending on start date.)

• 12 Sick Days, 2 Personal Holiday & 12 Paid Holidays

• 4 Hours of Voluntary Paid Time Off for community service work

• Paid time off between Christmas and New Year’s Day
