This was Dordt's fifth appearance in the national tournament in as many years and the second championship game appearance since Harmsen started his tenure during the 2018-19 school year. At the close of the 2024 season, the Defenders ranked No. 1 nationally in 12 categories (CLICK HERE for more of Dordt's season stats).

Ella Collier of Marian (Ind.) is the only All-American this year who has been named to an All-America team four times. Callie Stevens of Lewis-Clark State (Idaho), Grace Beyer of UHSP (Mo.) and Melissa Akullu of Vanguard (Calif.) are all three-time All-Americans.
