Week 9 (May 4, 2021) 

Player of the Week: Alli Davis, Olivet Nazarene (Ill.)

Alli Davis hit three home runs, which ties the NAIA and team record, two grand slams, which ties the NAIA record, and drove in 11 RBIs, which tied the NAIA record and broke the school record.

Pitcher of the Week: Shelbey Cornelson, Oklahoma City

Shelbey Cornelson collected the victory as Oklahoma City University completed the sweep of Science & Arts on Tuesday at Ann Lacy Stadium in a matchup of two of the top five-ranked squads in NAIA softball and the top two teams in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

Player of the Week: Riley Perryman, Valley City State (N.D.)

Had an impressive week at bat for Valley City State (N.D.). Perryman hit a tie-breaking 3-run home run in the fifth inning of a 7-4 win over Waldorf.

Pitcher of the Week: Allison Golic, Saint Xavier (Ill.)

Threw two no-hitters to bookend a week where she went 4-1 with a 1.20 ERA in 35.0 innings of work. Posted 57 strikeouts to just five walks and had a season-high 17 strikeouts in a no-hitter over Cardinal Stritch. Limited opposing hitters to a .164 batting average.

Player of the Week: Maile Deutsch, McPherson (Kan.)

  Deutsch went 12 for 13 at bat. She had a pair of doubles, five walks, and nine RBI's. She is also ranked No. 2 in the NAIA for slugging percentage and batting average.

Pitcher of the Week: Emily Smith, Valley City State (N.D.)

  Smith pitched back-to-back no hitters and finishes each game in just five innings. She walked three and struck out 14 on the week. Smith also broke the VCSU Career Strikeouts record with 515 total.

Christie Betker threw a perfect game against Central Christian on Friday at Ann Lacy Stadium. Betker, a senior from Reno, Nev., notched six strikeouts in five innings.

Brittany was a dominating presence in her two appearances in the four-game sweep over Bethel. She struck out the first nine batters she saw on her way to a career-high 16 strikeouts in game two of the series.

Player of the Week: Lesieli Aholelei, William Jessup (Calif.)

Lesieli Aholelei hasd a great week for the Warriors at the plate.  The senior was one RBI from tying the Jessup single game record, and she tied the mark for most home runs in a game. Aholelei this season is batting .500, and ranks in the nation in total bases (78), 6th in triples (5), and 7th in slugging pct. (.975).
