2024 NAIA Softball Players of the Week - No. 10 (April 30)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Maeson Schlaud of Madonna (Mich.) has been named the NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week and Sierra Norman of Marian (Ind.) has been named the NAIA Softball Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from April 22-28 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week
Maeson Schlaud, Madonna (Mich.) - SR - RPH
- Schlaud tossed four games last week, earning the start in three for 16 and 2/3 total innings pitched.
- Moves to 27-2 on the season which puts her name at the top of the win list in the NAIA.
- She allowed only eight hits, and one run, with 19 strikeouts for an average of 7.98 K/7.
- Finished last week with a 0.42 ERA and a .48 WHIP.
NAIA Softball Player of the Week
Sierra Norman, Marian (Ind.) - SR - 1B
- Norman had herself a week at the plate to close out the regular season, going 12-for-20 in six games.
- Her 13 RBI last week, put her in the Knights softball record books as she became the all-time leader at Marian.
- Notching four multi-hit games, she posted a .600 BA, .640 OBP, and a 1.100 SLG%.
