JACKSON, Tenn.Holly Haycraft of Union University (Tenn.) is now the all-time NAIA stolen base queen as she swiped career stolen base number 170 on April 18. Her record-setting stolen base came in Union's 7-1 win against No. 20 Martin Methodist College (Tenn.) in the first game of a double header.

Haycraft passed the old NAIA record of 169 held by Cheryle Bolding of Point Loma Nazarene University (Calif.) from 2000-2003.

Haycraft, a native of Dyersburg, Tennessee, has a current career total of 170 steals in 185 attempts. She passed the old Union career steals record as a sophomore and already holds the Union record for steals in a season (55) and steals in a game (5). Her 55 steals during her junior year is good for the fourth best season total in NAIA history. Haycraft also holds the Union record for runs scored and base on balls in a career.

On the season, Haycraft leads the Lady Bulldogs with a .408 batting average. She also leads the team with 62 hits, 30 runs scored, and three triples. Haycraft is currently 30-of-33 in the stolen base department on the season.

Prior to coming to Union, Haycraft set the Dyersburg High School record for stolen bases in a season with 75.

Through the first three years of her career, Haycraft has been named to the TranSouth All-Conference team and NAIA All-Region team three times each. She was also named an NAIA All-American and NAIA Scholar Athlete last season as a junior.
