Economic Impact of the 2023 Men's and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The 2023 NAIA Men's and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships were hosted in Marion, Ind. at Indiana Wesleyan for the first time since they last hosted from 2010-2013. The event has boosted the local economy each year.

The NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships bring in 200+ student-athletes for both championships and their coaches, support staff and fans to the host city annually for anywhere between three-to-six days. Over the course of the championship, teams and fans not only occupy the hotels of the region but patronize local restaurants and attractions.
