2023 NAIA Men's Soccer Players of the Week - No. 9 (October 24)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Ander Bengoetxea of Tabor (Kan.) has been named the NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Mitchell Dryden from Dordt (Iowa) has been named the NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from October 16-22 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular-season on Tuesday's on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Ander Bengoetxea, Tabor (Kan.) - JR - Midfielder
- Led Tabor to a 2-0 week by scoring four out of the team's seven goals.
- Tallied a hat trick against Avila (Mo.) on seven total shots.
- He was responsible for the game-winning goals in both contests.
NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Mitchell Dryden, Dordt (Iowa) - SR - Goalkeeper
- Allowed one goal in 180 minutes in leading the Defenders to a 1-0-1 record last week.
- Made a season-high 14 saves in the Defenders 4-0 shutout win at Jamestown (N.D.).
- Followed with eight saves in the Defenders 1-1 draw against Doane (Neb.)
