KANSAS CITY, Mo. -  Dederrian Williams of Indiana Wesleyan has been named the NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week. Jayson Hayes from Georgetown (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Football Defensive Player of the Week. Drew Rader of Georgetown (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week.  The trio was selected based on their performances from October 2-8 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular-season on Monday's on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week

 Dederrian Williams, Indiana Wesleyan - SR - Running Back

• Set a new program record with 288 rushing yards
• Scored 3 TD's, while averaging 16.0 yards a carry.
• broke free for two 60+ yard touchdowns in the 42-17 victory over Taylor (Ind.)

NAIA Football Defensive Player of the Week

Jayson Hayes, Georgetown (Ky.) - JR - Linebacker

•  Recorded 2 interceptions and returned both for touchdowns
•  Became the 6th player in program history with multiple INT;s returned for touchdowns.
•  Helped the Tigers upset #6 Bethel (Tenn.) 52-24.

NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week

Drew Rader, Georgetown (Ky.) - SO - Kicker/Punter

• Went 7-of-7 on extra points and kicked a 43-yard field goal.
• Put 3-of-4 punts inside the 20 during upset of #6 Bethel (Tenn.).
• Averaged nearly 50 yards per kickoff in Georgetown's 52-24 win.
