2019 NAIA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week — No. 7 (Oct. 16)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Emily Kearney of SCAD Atlanta (Ga.) has been named the NAIA National Runner of the Week the national office announced Wednesday. Kearney was selected based on her performances from October 7-14 and was chosen out of a pool of conference and Association of Independent Institution winners.

  • Competed in the Royals Challenge Invitational
  • Finished third of 541 runners in the 5k with a time of 17:10
  • Helped the team to an 8th place overall finish
  • Was the first NAIA runner to finish in field
