Week 9 (March 31, 2021)

Runner of the Week: Faith Widman, Oregon Tech

Widman placed first at the Cascade Conference Championships 5k with a time of 17:41. This was a 42-second improvement on her season-best. She is currently ranked No. 11 in the NAIA National Rankings.

Runner of the Week: Emily Bayer, Missouri Baptist

Bayer finished third out of 69 runners at the Mustang National Preview 5k. She finished the race with a time of 18:52.

Runner of the Week: Christiana Murphy, Madonna (Mich.)

 

Murphy finished first out of 68 runners at the Aquinas College Spring Challenge 5k.

Runner of the Week: Emma Wilson, Huntington (Ind.)

Wilson finished 25 seconds ahead of the rest of the field and broke the course record last week. The sophomore remains undefeated on the year so far.

Rohm competed at and won the Sand Shark Invite last week with a time of 18:09. The junior cleared her nearest competitor by 28 seconds and the nearest NAIA competitor, teammate Raeanna Pabon by almost 90 seconds.

Richtman broke her school record with a final time of 18:28 in the Frontier Rumble. The senior held a 14-second distance from the closest conference competitor over the last 400m of the race.
