2019 NAIA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week — No. 1 (Sept. 4)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ariana Anderson of Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) has been named the NAIA National Runner of the Week the national office announced Wednesday. Anderson was selected based on her performances from Aug. 26 – Sept. 1 and was chosen out of a pool of conference and Association of Independent Institution winners.

- Competed in the Mark Covert Classic
- Finished fourth of 200 runners in the 5K with a time of 18:04
- With her time, Anderson ran the fastest 5k time by a female outside of Division I programs
