KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Emily Kearney of SCAD Atlanta (Ga.) has been named the NAIA National Runner of the Week the national office announced Wednesday. Kearney was selected based on her performances from Sept. 9-15 and was chosen out of a pool of conference and Association of Independent Institution winners.

• Finished first of 102 runners in the 5000m with a time of 17:21
• Kearney set a new course record
