KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Bridgette Duty of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Wrestler of the Week the National office announced Wednesday. Duty was chosen over a pool of conference winners based on competition from Jan. 13 – 19.

Bridgette Duty, Cumberlands (Ky.)  

136-pound Jr., Needville, Texas

• Duty went 7-0 on the weekend combining her performances from the York College Duals and York College Open
• She finished first  at the open in the 136-weight class helped Cumberlands earn first place in team points as well

• Duty outscored her opponents 68-2 earning six of her wins by tech fall
• Her seven victories from the weekend have brought her up to 20 wins on the season
