Week 7 (February 17, 2021) 

Women's Wrestler of the Week: Serenity Durham Goree, Midland (Neb.)

Serenity Durham Goree swept her way through the 116 division with a pair of decisions over ranked opponents

Nominees: Ashley Ikner #5, Cumberlands (Ky.) 

 

Week 6 (February 10, 2021) 

Women's Wrestler of the Week: Rayana Sahagun, Jamestown (N.D.)

Rayana Sahagun went a perfect 4-0 to win the 109-pound division of the Grand View (Iowa) Open on Saturday...Sahagun defeated three top-10 nationally ranked opponents along the way. 

Nominees: Emily Lorring, Providence (Mont.) (Mont.) ; Hunter Robinson, Grand View (Iowa) ; Bridgette Duty #3, Cumberlands (Ky.) ; Cierra Foster, Oklahoma City


Week 5 (February 3, 2021) 

Women's Wrestler of the Week: Stefana Jelacic, Lourdes (Ohio)

The freshman picked up a pair of victories at 116 pounds on Friday evening to improve her record to 3-0 on the season.  Jelacic is currently ranked third in the NAIA at her weight class. 

Week 4 (January 27, 2021) 

Women's Wrestler of the Week: Bridgette Duty, Cumberlands (Ky.)

Bridgette Duty had a 4-0 record and won the 136-weight class last weekend. She defeated three top-9 opponents including two from NCAA D-II, both of which have earned All-American status. The wins combined give Duty 93 in her career, ranking her second for career wins in program history.

Week 3 (January 20, 2021) 

Women's Wrestler of the Week: Janie Stephens, Cumberlands (Ky.)

No. 5 Janie Stephens earned her first career tournament win last weekend. The sophomore never entered the second period in her matches with her longest match lasting just 2:46 and her quickest finishing in 44 seconds.

Week 2 (January 13, 2021) 

 Women's Wrestler of the Week: Nina Pham, Wayland Baptist (Texas)

Pham wrestled two weight classes up at the Hastings Open this past weekend and dominated. 
Nominees: Alexis Gomez, Grand View (Iowa) ; Lyric Gonsalves, Ottawa (Kan.) ; Ashley Ikner, Cumberlands (Ky.)

Week 1 (November 25, 2020) 

Women's Wrestler of the Week: Riley Dalrymple, Life (Ga.)

Dalrymple got her freshman season off to a blistering start, recording three falls and two technical falls in her five outings. Two of her pins came against the ranked opponents she faced. In the individual competition she finished 2nd in the 130-pound weight class.
