KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lyric Gonsalves of Ottawa (Kan.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Wrestler of the Week, the National office announced Thursday. Gonsalves was chosen over a pool of conference winners based on competition from Jan. 27– Feb. 2.

• Went 6-1 on the week earning all six victories at the Spire Classic
• Won by two technical falls to finish first in 143 lb weight class

• Improved her overall season record to 12-4.
