2024 NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches Top 25 Rating - Final (November 13)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Northwestern (Iowa) remains at No. 1 in the latest 2024 NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches Top 25 Rating as the unanimous No. 1, receiving all 21 first-place votes. The Raiders have now been rated No. 1 for all five regular-season ratings and are one of two teams in the Top 25 with a perfect record on the season. St. Thomas (Fla.) is the second team remaining in the Top 25, with an unblemished record of 28-0, while the Bobcats remain ranked at No. 10 this week. Bellevue (Neb.) jumped into the Top 5, while no team in the Top 25 moved up more than two spots. The Master's (Calif.) joined the Top 25 after winning the Great Southwest Athletic Conference (GSAC) regular season title. This rating also includes three ties at three, 11 and 22.
Rating Methodology:
- The rating is rated by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents).
- The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each rater rates the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second place, 28 for third place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ratings for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) are removed. The team's rating will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the team appears on.
- Teams that receive only one point on the ballot are not considered "receiving votes".
