KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Catarina Cigarini of Missouri Baptist has been named the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week, Ayla Carpenter of Carroll (Mont.) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Defender of the Week and Ali Williams of Carroll has been named the NAIA National Volleyball Setter of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. The trio was selected based on their performances from Oct. 21 - 27 and were chosen out of a pool of conference and Association of Independent Institution winners.

Attacker of the Week
Caterina Cigarini, Missouri Baptist
6-4, SR, MB, Modena, Italy

• Cigarini helped lead her team to its fifth Top-10 win at home with a win over No. 7 Columbia (Mo.) last week.
