KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Anna Wedel of Northwestern (Iowa) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week, Payton Robley of Saint Mary (Neb.) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Defender of the Week and Lacey Wacker of Northwestern has been named the NAIA National Volleyball Setter of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. The trio was selected based on their performances from Oct. 14 - 20 and were chosen out of a pool of conference and Association of Independent Institution winners.

Attacker of the Week
Anna Wedel, Northwestern
6-1, JR, OH, Orange City, Iowa

• Wedel set a new career-high and school single-match record of 32 kills against No. 22 Dordt (Iowa) and recorded a double-double in the two matches she competed in.

Defender of the Week
Payton Robley, Saint Mary
5-8, SR, Libero, Bee, Neb.

• Robley helped lead her team to an undefeated week which included a win over No. 8 Midland (Neb.). The senior posted a week-high of Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) with 36 digs.
