Player of the Week: Renee Acena, Saint Mary (Neb.)

 

Acena went 8-0 on the week with four singles and four doubles wins. The freshman finished undefeated in the GPAC in singles play at 7-0.

Player of the Week: Teodora Jovic, Union (Ky.)

 

Jovic is undefeated on the season in both singles (7-0) and doubles-play (7-0). She helped Union defeat No. 14-ranked Tennessee Wesleyan with a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles. At No. 2 doubles, she and teammate Nicole Viljoen won 6-3.

Player of the Week: Angela Charles-Alfred, Xavier (La.)

 

  Charles-Alfred helped XULA go 5-0 in four days of competitions. She also helped XULA became the only SSAC women's team of the last 16 seasons to not allow a point in regular-season conference dual matches. She is currently nationally ranked No. 35 in singles play with a 10-4 record. She is also nationally ranked No. 3 in doubles play with Lailaa Bashir with a 16-4 record.
