KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Sacha Millward of Life (Ga.) was the highlight of the Running Eagles' offense last week. A stuffed stat sheet, comprised of five total goals, a pair of assists, and a dozen points, earns Millward NAIA Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Sacha opened her week with a hat trick at home against Blue Mountain Christian (Miss.) when she put 75% of her shots on frame, including a penalty kick goal. Just three days later, against No. 16 Tennessee Southern, Millward added two more goals, including the game-winning goal to lift Life over the Firehawks 3-1.
Overall, she had a 75% shot-on-goal average. Millward and company are back in action later today as they travel to Cumberland (Tenn.) before returning home on Friday, October 10, when they take on Thomas (Ga.) to kick off a weekend full of women's soccer matches, featured on NAIA-UEN.
