KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The top nine teams in the nation remained as-is from a week ago in the latest edition of the Top 25. The only movement in the Top 10 this week was at No. 10 as John Brown (Ark.) dropped to No. 13 and Indiana Wesleyan continued its upward momentum to No. 10.

Central Methodist (Mo.) remained unbeaten and the top team in the Heart of America Athletic Conference while Martin Methodist (Tenn.), Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), Westmont (Calif.) and Science & Arts (Okla.) stayed put at Nos. 6-9.

Top 25 Highlights (historical information dates back to 1999)

• Keiser finished its regular season on a high note with a decisive victory over Warner (Fla.). With that victory, the Seahawks finished their regular season slate with 15 consecutive wins to collect The Sun Conference regular-season title.
• Goalkeeper Nina Haeberlin is ranked No. 2 in the NAIA in goals against per game with 0.340.
• William Carey (Miss.) also finished on a winning streak with nine consecutive victories to close-out 2019. The Crusaders will enter Southern States Athletics Conference Championship Tournament play as the No. 1 overall seed.
• Southeastern (Fla.) forward Uchenna Kanu was named the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday after setting a new career goals record. The senior has 149 goals, three more than Julia Schojan of Fisher (Mass.) whom set the previous record in 2017.
• Oregon Tech and Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) both enter the Top 25 this week at No. 24 and No. 25. Week nine represents the first week that either team has been listed in the Top 25 in 2019.
• The only tie in this week’s poll occurred at No. 25 where Olivet Nazarene and Columbia (Mo.) both finished with 98 points.
• Spring Arbor continues to hold the longest active Top 25 Poll streak, moving to 106 consecutive appearances in the poll. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) holds the national record since 1999 with 203 consecutive appearances, which was stopped on Oct. 24, 2017. Keiser (Fla.) is right behind Spring Arbor, extending its streak to 104 weeks.
• Lindsey Wilson own the most No. 1 rankings since 1999 with 58, followed by former member Azusa Pacific (Calif.) with 32. Spring Arbor is in third with 23 followed closely by Westmont (Calif.) and former member Concordia (Ore.) with 19 apiece.

Poll Methodology

• The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, Association of Independent Institutions and Unaffiliated Groups.
• The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.
• The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low ratings) is removed and the team’s ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the teams appears on.
• Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered “receiving votes.”
