KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With Keiser (Fla.) and William Carey (Miss.) continuing to slug it out at the top, several teams have continued to jockey for position in the eighth edition of the Top 25. The top five remained the same while none of the teams that were in last week’s top 10 moved out.

Top 25 Highlights (historical information dates back to 1999)

• Keiser is in the midst of a 13-match winning streak and with just two games to go in the regular season, looks to gain some separation between itself and No. 2 William Carey (Miss.) The Seahawks received 13 of 18 first-place votes.
• With 12 shutouts on the year, Keiser leads the nation in that category, while it also finds itself No. 2 overall in shots per game, averaging 29.5 per contest.
• William Carey will play its final game of the regular season on Halloween (Thursday) at 1:00 p.m. on the road at Florida College. The Lady Crusaders picked-up a 3-1 victory on senior day against Dalton State (Ga.) over the weekend.
• Southeastern (Fla.) rattled-off two convincing shutout wins in a row prior to its 2-1 double overtime triumph over St. Thomas (Fla.) on Friday. Uchenna Kanu has five goals and four assists in her last three matches and was named the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
• Northwest (Wash.) is making its first appearance in the Top 25 this week since the preseason edition. The Eagles are in at No. 25 with just one final game against Southern Oregon on Nov. 2 remaining on their schedule.
• Indiana Wesleyan is now one slot out of the Top 10 at No. 11. The Wildcats jumped another three spots this week while conference foe Marian (Ind.) made the most positive movement this week with a four-spot bump.
• The only tie in this week’s poll occurred at No. 21 where Benedictine (Kan.) and Embry Riddle (Ariz.) both finished with 160 points.
• Spring Arbor continues to hold the longest active Top 25 Poll streak, moving to 105 consecutive appearances in the poll. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) holds the national record since 1999 with 203 consecutive appearances, which was stopped on Oct. 24, 2017. Keiser (Fla.) is right behind Spring Arbor, extending its streak to 103 weeks.
• Lindsey Wilson own the most No. 1 rankings since 1999 with 58, followed by former member Azusa Pacific (Calif.) with 32. Spring Arbor is in third with 23 followed closely by Westmont (Calif.) and former member Concordia (Ore.) with 19 apiece.

Poll Methodology

• The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, Association of Independent Institutions and Unaffiliated Groups.
• The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.
• The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low ratings) is removed and the team’s ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the teams appears on.
• Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered “receiving votes.”
