KANSAS CITY, Mo. – No newcomers entered the top 10 this week as many teams jockeyed for position in the final Top 25 poll, released Wednesday. Martin Methodist (Tenn.) flip-flopped with Central Methodist (Mo.) at Nos. 5 and 6, while every other team remained in the same position in the top 10 as a week prior.

Central Methodist remains as the lone undefeated team in the Top 25.

Top 25 Highlights (historical information dates back to 1999)

• Keiser remained idle since its decisive regular-season finale victory against Warner (Fla.) The Seahawks began The Sun Conference tournament play on Tuesday with a victory over St. Thomas (Fla.) in their first postseason match.
• William Carey (Miss.) has also been idle since its final regular season game on Oct. 31. The Crusaders are set to face-off with Middle Georgia State in Southern States Athletic Conference play on Thursday, Nov. 14.
• William Carey’s Silvia Leonessi ranks No. 3 in assists per game (1.00/match average) and sixth in the nation with 17 total assists on the year.
• Northwestern Ohio snagged a pair of wins last week as the team races to the finish in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament. The Racers will face No. 2-seeded Aquinas (Mich.) on Saturday, Nov. 16. Both teams have now been guaranteed a berth into the NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round.
• Southeastern (Fla.) kicked-off its 2019 postseason on Tuesday with a win over Johnson & Wales (Fla.) to head to the title game against Keiser (Fla.) on Saturday, Nov. 16. The Seahawks won the lone meeting between the two this season, 2-1, on Oct. 16.
• The only tie in this week’s poll occurred at No. 14 where Georgia Gwinnett and Hastings (Neb.) both finished with 266 points.
• Spring Arbor continues to hold the longest active Top 25 Poll streak, moving to 107 consecutive appearances in the poll. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) holds the national record since 1999 with 203 consecutive appearances, which was stopped on Oct. 24, 2017. Keiser (Fla.) is right behind Spring Arbor, extending its streak to 105 weeks.
• Lindsey Wilson own the most No. 1 rankings since 1999 with 58, followed by former member Azusa Pacific (Calif.) with 32. Spring Arbor is in third with 23 followed closely by Westmont (Calif.) and former member Concordia (Ore.) with 19 apiece.

Poll Methodology

• The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, Association of Independent Institutions and Unaffiliated Groups.
• The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.
• The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low ratings) is removed and the team’s ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the teams appears on.
• Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered “receiving votes.”
