Qualifiers for the 2021 NAIA Women's Lacrosse Championship Announced

Kansas City, Mo. – [BRACKET] The NAIA has officially announced the eight qualifiers and bracket for the 2021 NAIA Women's Lacrosse National Invitational. The event will take place in Savannah, Ga., at Memorial Stadium May 5-8.

This year's field includes four automatic qualifiers and four at-large bids. The automatic qualifiers were determined by the conference/group tournament winners or the highest-ranked team in the conference/group depending on the league. The remaining at-large bids were determined by a selection committee.

The NAIA Network – the association's official video-streaming home – will broadcast all matches excluding the semifinals and championship matches live at the 2021 NAIA Women's Lacrosse National Championship. The video platform, powered by Stretch Internet, allows users access to live video, statistics and social interaction on a number of devices, including mobile. Single-day passes can be purchased for $4.95, while a championship pass is $9.95.

Qualifier Highlights

  • Women's lacrosse is in its first year as a championship sport in the NAIA.
  • All qualifying teams will record their first national championship appearance this year.
  • Out of the 2021 championship field, SCAD Savannah (Ga.) and Lawrence Tech (Mich.) have made an appearance in all of the previous NAIA invitationals including.
  • SCAD Savannah (Ga.) enters the field with three invitational titles from 2017, 2018 & 2019.
