2019 NAIA Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week ? No. 7

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Avery Blackmon of Georgetown (Ky.) was named as the NAIA women’s lacrosse offensive player of the week and Emma Devereaux of SCAD Savannah (Ga.) was named as the NAIA women’s defensive player of the week. The duo was chosen out of a pool of conference and group winners.

Offensive Player of the Week
Avery Blackmon, Georgetown
5-7, SR, M, Woodstock, Ga.  

  • Blackmon recorded her 500th career draw control and broke Georgetown’s in game record for points and goals against Life (Ga.)
  • Weekly Stats
    • Totaled 24 goals, 8.0 average
    • Totaled two assists, 0.7 average
    • Totaled 36 shots with 28 on goal

Defensive Player of the Week
Emma Devereaux, SCAD Savannah (Ga.) 
5-6, SR, D, Oyster Bay, N.Y.   

  • Devereaux tied a program record in caused turnovers with seven against No. 8 Georgetown.

    • Totaled 11 ground balls
    • Totaled nine caused turnovers
