2024-25 NAIA WGCA Player of the Year Goes to Lindsey Wilson's Butpapaporn Sukterm
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Women’s Golf Coaches Association has announced its 2024-25 postseason awards, including the 2024-25 NAIA WGCA Player of the Year, Butpapaporn Sukterm, from Lindsey Wilson (Ky.).
Sukterm finished in the top-five in every tournament she played in during the season, including six first-place finishes. She was the Mid-South Conference Champion and broke the school record for single season stroke average (71.46).
In May, at the 2025 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship, at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, Mich., Sukterm was even par over four rounds, including 3-under par in the second round. She finished the championship in third place, indiviually, and on the Clippd season scoreboard, she was the No. 1 ranked golfer in the NAIA, in 2025. May 22, she was named First-Team All-America by the NAIA women's golf coaches.
The NAIA announced its full 2024-25 Women's Golf All-America Teams last month, on May 22.
