2024-25 NAIA Women's Golf Final Rating (May 2)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – No new teams entered the final week of the NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25 Rating, but there was plenty of shuffle past the first four spots.
British Columbia, with 13 first-place votes, remained No. 1, where the Thunderbirds have been for all four spring installments of the rating. No. 2 Keiser picked up the other three first-place votes, followed by No. 3 SCAD Savannah (Ga.) and No. 4 Dalton State (Ga.).
Oklahoma City rounded out the top five, up a spot to No. 5, while William Carey (Miss.) made the biggest jump, entering the top 10 after spending the last rating at No. 15, up five spots.
Today’s rating is the last of the 2024-25 season, and the qualifiers for the 2025 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship were announced along with the final rating. The championship will be played in Ypsilanti, Mich., May 13-16, at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
Rating Methodology:
- The rating was rated by a panel of head coaches representing each NAIA Women’s Golf conference.
- The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each rater rates teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place, 28 for third-place, and so on, through the list.
- The highest and lowest ratings for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) are removed. The team’s rating will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the team appears on.
- Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered “receiving votes".
