KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kelsey Thaxton of LSU Alexandria (La.) was named as the NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball player of the week announced the national office on Tuesday. Thaxton was chosen out of a pool of conference group winners.

  • Also added four assists, three blocks and went 24-40 from the field.
