MONTGOMERY, Ala--
The University of Mobile softball team swept Faulkner University by scores of 2-0 and 4-2 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Wednesday to give head coach Terri McCormick career win number 200.

McCormick's career record now sits at 201-97 in her sixth season at the University of Mobile. She guided the Lady Rams to a second place finish at the 2008 NAIA National Championships and back-to-back trips to the tournament the past two seasons.

Mobile (26-19, 11-13) will close out the regular season against 11th-ranked Belhaven Saturday at 2 pm in Jackson, Miss.

The Lady Rams scored single tallies in the 1st and 5th innings of the opener and Kamaron Strickland held Faulkner to three hits and three walks in seven innings of shutout ball. She struck out four.

Brittany Dunson led at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored.

The first run came when Dunson led off the 1st with a triple, and later scored on a RBI-ground out from Alexa Da Rosa.

Allie Luster started the 5th with a single, and later scored on a two-out RBI-single from Dunson.

Game two saw Mobile score three runs in the final two innings to come back from a 2-1 deficit. That made a winner out of Alli Hall, who gave up two unearned runs on six hits, while fanning five in a complete-game effort.

Dunson and Luster led with two hits apiece, while Emily Vickrey went 1-for-2 with one RBI and one run scored.

Trailing 2-1 after two, Mobile tied it up in the 6th when Vickrey followed a Jordan Coleman single and an Ashley Middleton double with a sac fly.

Mobile then went ahead for good in the 7th, scoring twice on two hits and two errors. Luster started the rally with a double, scoring on a Faulkner error.
