KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Ginalee Davis of Lubbock Christian (Texas) has been selected as the NAIA Softball Player of the Week while Kristen LaFan of Webber International (Fla.) was awarded the NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week while for March 9-15.

Davis, a senior second baseman from San Diego, Calif., batted .522 with 1.391 slugging percentage last week.  In eight games she went 12-for-23 with five home runs, three doubles, one triple, 17 RBI and 11 runs scored.  Davis recorded at least one RBI in her last seven games.

LeFan, a junior pitcher from Auburndale, Fla., notched three wins and a save in four appearances last week. She threw her first collegiate perfect game against Hannibal-LaGrange while recording eight strike outs. On the week LeFan pitched 19.2 innings allowing just one earned run, four hits and struck out 32 batters.

The next Players of the Week will be announced on March 24.
