KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Emily Jimmerson of Faulkner (Ala.) has been selected as the NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week while Marci Cline of William Penn (Iowa) was awarded the NAIA Softball Player of the Week for March 24-30.

Jimmerson, a freshman pitcher from Eufaula, Ala., recorded two wins last week including a no-hitter against Reinhardt College. She struck out 15 batters in 12 innings and did not allow a hit.  Jimmerson pitched five innings against Spring Hill and struck out seven batters on the road for an 8-1 victory.  She also recorded eight strikeouts against Reinhardt in a 2-0 win. 

Cline, a senior outfielder from Tacoma, Wash., recorded 11 hits in 17 at bats and drove in 10 runs to help William Penn to a 6-0 record during the week.  She hit four homeruns, two doubles and scored 11 runs during the week.  On the season Cline is batting .425 with five homeruns, 34 RBI and 20 runs scored.
