NAIA Softball Rating No. 6

OLATHE, Kan. - California Baptist continued to sweep all 13 first-place votes, followed by Oklahoma City, Simon Fraser (B.C.) and Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) in the top four, but little else remained unchanged in the latest installment of the NAIA Softball Top 25 Coaches Poll.
Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) moved into the top five after spending last week at No. 7, followed by a pair of school's that moved four spots, as Houston Baptist (Texas) moved to No. 6 and Lee (Tenn.) followed at No. 7. Vanguard (Calif.) remained No. 8 this week, while Shorter (Ga.) dropped to No. 9 from No. 6 and St. Gregory's (Okla.) went from No. 5 to No. 10.
Only one newcomer entered the Top 25, as Tiffin (Ohio) checks in at No. 21. Savannah Art & Design (Ga.) was the only team to exit the Top 10 this week, falling from No. 9 to No. 15, and after a week out of the Top 15, Thomas (Ga.) hopped five spots to land at No. 12 this week.
