A game-winning walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning by Angelica Yrigoyen from Mobile sealed the victory for the Rams.  The win enabled Mobile to emerge from pool play unscathed.  Linden Jones picked up the win while KC Robertson suffered the loss.

Evangel (Mo.) def. Ottawa (Kan.), 8-2
The Crusaders used four runs in the bottom of the second to get the upper hand on Ottawa.  Ottawa scored one run in the third, but Evangel answered with one of its own and added three more in the sixth.  Cara Bowling got the win while Pam Johnston suffered the loss.

#8 Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) def. Houston Baptist (Texas), 2-0
Scoreless through six innings of play, Point Loma rallied for two runs in the top of the seventh which proved to be the game winners.    Katie McColeman was credited with the win and Laura Hess took the loss.

#1 Mobile (Ala.) def. Evangel, 10-3
Tied three-all heading into the final inning, Mobile was the recipient of three walks and one error and racked up seven runs to thwart Evangel's bid for an upset.  Ann Marie Odum was awarded the win with Brooke Ragan taking the loss.

Houston Baptist (Texas) def. Ottawa (Kan.), 12-0 (5 innings)
HBU scored the first run of the game and never looked back as the Huskies used a balanced attack, recording nine hits and 11 RBi's in the victory. Cheri Wood went 3-for-4, scored two runs and had two RBI's for the Huskies. Laura Hess took the win while Corrin Ball suffered the loss.
