#4 Simon Fraser (B.C.) def. #5 St. Gregory's (Okla.), 7-3
Simon Fraser crushed St. Gregory's hopes of advancing by exploding for four runs in the top of the seventh to break the 3-3 tie.  Sparked by Marcie Bruder's pinch-hitting single, SFU got five hits in the final inning.  Jennifer Schreyer picked up the win.  Sharon Bell suffered the loss.

Valley City State (N.D.) def. Bethel (Tenn.), 4-2
It only took one inning for Valley City State to claim the lead.  Scoring all four of its runs in the fourth, VCSU held Bethel scoreless for the rest of the game.  Karalea Morris recorded her 22nd win of the year.  Paige Cooper took the loss.

#5 St. Gregory's def. Trevecca (Tenn.), 1-0
In a battle of pitchers, St. Gregory's scored the lone run of the game in the fourth off a sacrifice fly by Lacey Owens.  Sharon Bell went seven innings, allowing only one hit and striking out five.  Brittiany Johnson struck out six, but allowed five hits and the one run in the losing effort.

#4 Simon Fraser (B.C.) def. VCSU (N.D.), 10-1 (6 innings)
SFU scored early and never looked back.  Four runs came in the top of the first, another in the second and three more in the fifth.  The final came in the sixth for the victory.  Jennifer Schreyer was credited with the win.  Karalea Morris suffered the loss.

Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) def. Bethel (Tenn.), 5-0
TNU closed out pool play by handing Bethel a 5-0 defeat.  Jennifer Perkins recorded a solo home run while Brittiany Johnson struck out 13 and allowed no hits in the win.  Ashton McFarland took the loss.
