Players of the week are evaluated on their performance during the week prior to the announcement. Each player is selected out of a pool of conference and Association of Independent Institution's award winners.

Week 9 (March 31, 2021)

Runner of the Week: Cole Olsen, Lewis-Clark (Idaho)

Olsen placed first at the Cascade Conference Championships with a time of 24:18 in the 8k race. He secured his second individual conference title of his college career and has gone 4-for-4 this season.

Week 8 (March 24, 2021)

Runner of the Week: Clayton Jones, Aquinas College (Mich.)

Jones won the individual title at the LTU Spring Challenge out of 39 runners with a time of 27:02. He helped Aquinas win the team title for the race.

Week 7 (March 17, 2021)

Runner of the Week: Jorden Sowash, Michigan-Dearborn

 

Sowash was the first UM-Dearborn men's cross country student-athlete to finish first in a race. He placed first in his first race in his collegiate career out of 73 runners at the Aquinas Spring Shuffle.

Week 6 (October 28, 2020)

Runner of the Week: Luke Skinner, Saint Mary (Kan.)

 

Skinner finished first of 115 runners. The senior recorded a time of 24:48.

Runner of the Week: Aaron Jones, Milligan (Tenn.)

Jones finished first at the AAC Preview last week with a time of 25:30. The freshman also paced his team to another win as the team remains undefeated so far this season.

Kipkogei finished first in the University of North Alabama cross country invitational and also led his team to a first-place finish. The sophomore ran a 5:05 mile pace.
